What makes Eastwood worth the trip from Oatlands

Oatlands is a fair way from North Road, so it is worth saying what the trip gets you. Kitten and puppy visits, vaccinations, dentistry, desexing and orthopaedic surgery are all done here, and with X-ray and ultrasound in the building we can usually turn "I am not sure what that is" into an answer in a single visit.

The group behind us is the other half of it. The services listed further down are done at one of our sister sites, arranged by your vet here, and your pet comes back to us afterwards, so registering with us once reaches all of it, and we can tell you honestly which parts your pet actually needs.

And one practical thing for families making the drive: Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese are spoken at Eastwood, so it is worth telling us when you book if one of them would suit your family better.

Open space near Oatlands

A couple of well used spots around Oatlands: George Gollan Reserve and Burnside Gollan Reserve. There is also: Dan Mahoney Reserve, Robert Green Forest, Barton Park, P H Jeffery Reserve.

Dan Mahoney Reserve is marked off-lead in the mapping data. Councils set the rules and they do change, so a quick look at the council's page before you unclip is worth it.

Grass seed is the one to watch. It works into a paw or an ear over several days, and a minute through the coat after a walk saves a good deal of bother, though if something has already got in we would much rather see it early than late.

From our clients

This vet hospital changed our experience! Very loving and knowledgeable doctors, very friendly and accommodating assistants. This should be the model for all vet hospitals!!! Special thanks to Dr Mirko for being so calm and patient with explaining with what is happening during consultations. He shows true care!
