We’re proud to have a team where all of our staff members are certified fear free professionals! This means we pay close attention to both the physical health of your pet, as well as their emotional welfare during their veterinary visits. We think you’ll notice the difference from the moment you step inside the clinic!

We treat every patient as an individual and take our time to get a full understanding of any health concerns you may have. We will then examine your pet before going through your options, discussing any necessary tests or treatments and ultimately coming up with a health or treatment plan for you fur child.

Health Checks & Consultations

We practice ‘fear free’ consultations and have dedicated dog and cat consult rooms to help your fur child relax into the visit. Each consult or vaccination includes a head-to-tail examination and we can focus in on any area of concern.

Our standard consult times are 30 minutes, which gives us plenty of time to understand your pet’s health issue, as well as explain any testing or treatment options available to you.

Desexing Procedures

We practice the highest standards of care for our de-sexing procedures to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. De-sexing procedures are performed from Monday to Friday.

Included in the cost of the procedure, all patients receive IV fluids, plenty of pain relief to keep them comfortable during the procedure and then afterwards at home and an elizabethan collar to stop them from chewing at their incision.

Dentistry

We offer FREE dental health checks with one of our vets to assess your pets oral hygiene and give you an estimate for any dental work your pet may need.

Our dental treatments are performed under general anaesthetic and when extractions are required we have digital x-rays available and use nerve blocks and the latest dental techniques to get the best outcome possible

In Clinic Diagnostics

Our hospital has a range of in house lab equipment, allowing a large range of test to be performed at the time of consultation. This includes an array of blood tests, urine tests, microscopic tests, blood pressure readings, ECG and blood oxygen saturation monitors, digital x-rays and ultrasound.

We then have the backup support Idexx laboratory, where we can send off any more complex tests and we typically can expect results back within 48 hours.

X-rays & Ultrasound

We’re proud to have the latest and highest quality digital x-ray and ultrasound at our fingertips.

This allows our vets to reach a diagnosis for your pet’s condition faster and more reliably, so we can quickly get them the treatment they need.

If needed, we can arrange for specialist radiologists to interpret the images and provide a report or visit our hospital for more complex cases.

Orthopaedic Surgery

Our team has undergone further training in orthopaedic procedures. This allows us to offer more advanced surgeries like dog and cat fracture repairs, patella surgery and cruciate repair surgery including TPLO’s.

We then guide you through your pet’s recovery to help achieve the best outcome.
